Installation

OLED Guard Pro is available from two stores. Both versions receive the same updates.

Steam

  1. Visit the Steam store page
  2. Click Add to Cart and complete purchase
  3. Install through Steam as usual
  4. Launch from your Steam library — the app minimizes to the system tray

Steam version includes Steam overlay integration and appears in your game library.

Microsoft Store

  1. Search "OLED Guard Pro" in the Microsoft Store
  2. Click Get (Free) or Buy (Pro)
  3. The app installs automatically
  4. Find it in your Start Menu under "OLED Guard Pro"

First Launch

On first launch, OLED Guard Pro:

  • Creates a system tray icon (look for the shield icon near your clock)
  • Opens the dashboard window
  • Detects all connected monitors
  • Starts with protection disabled — you choose when to enable it

Windows Defender SmartScreen

You may see a SmartScreen warning on first launch. This is normal for newer apps. Click More info then Run anyway.

Updating

  • Steam: Updates automatically through Steam
  • Microsoft Store: Updates automatically through the Store
