Multi-Monitor Setup
OLED Guard Pro supports any number of monitors, each with fully independent protection.
How It Works
When you launch the app, it detects all connected displays. Each monitor gets:
- Its own capture pipeline (independent screen capture)
- Its own render pipeline (independent overlay rendering)
- Its own enable/disable toggle
- Its own protection settings
Enabling Per-Monitor Protection
- Open the dashboard and navigate to the Monitor page
- Each detected monitor appears as a card
- Toggle protection on/off for each monitor independently
- Click a monitor card to adjust its individual settings
DDC/CI Brightness Control
For monitors that support DDC/CI (most modern displays), OLED Guard Pro can control hardware brightness and contrast directly:
- Adjust brightness without software dimming
- Set per-monitor brightness levels
- Useful for matching brightness across a mixed-monitor setup
Mixed OLED/LCD Setups
If you have a mix of OLED and LCD monitors, simply enable protection only on the OLED displays. LCD monitors don't suffer from burn-in and don't need protection.
Monitor Detection
OLED Guard Pro re-detects monitors when:
- A new display is connected
- A display is disconnected
- Display resolution changes
- The app is restarted
